Note*Plan ahead. Before purchasing a vehicle it is always a good idea to find out how much your sales tax and license plates will cost. If you call our office, we would be happy to give you an estimate. The weight is needed when licensing trucks and trailers. If the vehicle has been licensed here previously we can find this information on past registrations. If this is not the case, you should weigh the truck or trailer before coming in to license. If the item to be licensed is new, the weight is usually on the MSO. Sales tax on vehicles is due within 50 days of purchase to avoid penalty and interest regardless of permit expiration.
